Software Engineering Manager, AI, REA Group

Lead a lean, high-impact team (4 engineers, a Head of Product, and a Head of Design) responsible for shaping how REA builds AI products and systems at scale.

What the Team Delivers

• Build AI-native products that demonstrate what responsible, production-grade AI development looks like at REA
• Align engineering teams across the organisation on AI architectural decisions, tooling choices, and technical patterns
• Define the technical vision for REA's AI product and engineering platform, establishing golden paths that accelerate safe, consistent AI adoption org-wide

Engineering Leadership

• Manage and develop a team of engineers working at the frontier of applied AI
• Partner with Heads of Product and Design to maintain a coherent product and technical strategy
• Advise on org-wide AI architecture, infrastructure, and engineering standards as a key technical voice
• Balance near-term product delivery against longer-term platform and capability investment
